Ramilya’s Point Of View

At Clearwater High, my fellow students and I have to take truth potions before we can get inside a classroom. We do this so the teachers will know that we cheated if we ever did. It’s also why the schools’ called Clearwater High, sense truth potions are clear, like water.

My two roommates friends take part in Potion Making while I take Spells. We sort of got grouped together, so we had to either be best friends or we’d just have to live in the same dorm with “strangers”.

As the bronies and pegasisters (I’m one of them) say, “Strangers are just best friends that you have befriended yet.”. Or, at least that’s just my version of it.

Today I’m in my dorm room, (It’s a boarding school, so yeah.) waiting for my roommates to come in. Well, actually, they don’t have to come until a half an hour from now, which means I’m getting closer to coming to places closer to time and not an hour beforehand. Yeah, I’ve been practicing speed-walking while reading. It is easier to read for me when I’m still instead of moving.

I’m plugging in my laptop, putting my earphones on, getting on YouTube, and listening to my Favorite Music Videos (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuLIvxdWnUI...)playlist while I open the book that i'm reading(https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10025305-clock...).

I’ve read about fifteen pages when the door opens and two girls come in. I take my earphones off and I look at the digital clock on my laptop. “I’m the only one who didn’t arrive right on time, aren’t I. OMG, that reminds me of Wanted(https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9781243/1/Wanted)!”

“Hi, I’m Rosalinda, and I have no idea what you mean by ‘Wanted’,” one of the girls says.

“It’s a fanfiction, and the fanfiction has itish number crown written all over it. Not literally. By the way, my name’s Ramilya.”

“I don’t know what itish number crown is either, and ‘crown’’s not a number anyway.”

“Oh, I made that up. Here’s a book with both itish number crown and itish number heart in it(https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12283261-betwe...),” I say, giving her the book. “And here's the second book in the series (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23278280-off-t...) It’s practically my favorite series right now.” I toss her another book.

Rosalinda opens the first book. “Well, since we’re suppose to get to know each other, I guess I’ll start reading. Delilah, how about you read the other one.”

“Okay!,” the other girl, Delilah, apparently, exclaims, taking the second book. She opens it and starts reading, stopping abruptly.

“Wait, your name’s Delilah? Then you have the same as one of the main characters in that book.” I nod at the book that Delilah… umm… I think she’s the third one I’ve heard of by now… yeah. Anyway, the book that she just abruptly stopped reading.

She looks up from the book. “Yeah, I kinda figured it out when I saw my name os this page.” She shows me the page with “DELILAH” typed in green ink on it. She points at the word. “That is what I’m talking about.”

“Yeah…. Awkwardness?” I suggest.

“Yeah, totally.”

Rosalinda, who had looked up from her book when we were talking, says to me, “Is this a fairy tale?”

“It’s about one,” I reply. “It has some parts of the fairy tale in it.”

“Oh, okay.”

Rosalinda, Delilah, and I start reading the books in our hands again.

Seven and a half pages of my book later, Rosalinda looks up from her’s and asks Delilah and I, “Do you girls want to do something else?”

Delilah and I nod. Delilah says after she does so, “I’m not to the end of the page yet, though.”

“Me too,” I say. “Here.” I give each girl a little piece of paper and take one myself. “It’s small enough to be put above or under a paragraph. Use it as a bookmark.”

All of us do so and put our books on a side table.

“We can show each other the websites that we’re on,” Delilah suggests.

“Exactly what I was thinking,” I say.

“Alright,” Rosalinda responds.”

I'm planning on writing some Hetalia fanfictions of the Nordic Five since I've been reading those.

The only critique I could find was that there are a few grammatical errors in this piece, but what I love about this is that you spaced the action out, and didn't shove a bunch of it into the first chapter, because that's highly unrealistic. Nice job!

Here are my comments on this chapter. I would have to agree with what most of the previous reviewers stated about the worthiness of this chapter. This is unquestionably an enjoyable chapter. I'm glad to have the chance to review it. I think it is an interesting read. I didn't notice anything wrong, as far as the sentence structure is concerned, as I read it. In my opinion, this is a good write.
