Everyone has something to protect, to cherish, to love. They would do everything in their power to not let them be taken, stolen or be killed by anything or anyone.
Only he wasn't able to.
He promised he would.
His deepest regret.
His greatest guilt.
The mere thought of not being able to protect the most important person in his life is beyond anyone can understand. The torture of missing that person everyday makes it unbearable to carry. And yet, he's carrying the burden everyday.
Everyone told him that it's not his fault. There's nothing can be done.
Those words are just adding salt to his non-closing wounds but he knew better. He should have done better. Now, he can't do anything to make everything the way it was.
Not until someone serves him his favorite tea and cake in his grandmother's café.
